In this contest, you get two days to write a story of max 500 words based on three prompts, one of which is to break a specific writing rule. I entered the 2025 July contest, and my story received a wildcard from the judges (and was longlisted). This was a lot of fun and surprisingly successful.

My debut novel OH MY GODS won in the Storytrade Award's 'Urban Fantasy' category and was a finalist for 'Best Debut Prodigy.'
The Norse gods may have had a hand in the 2024 Storytrade Book Awards judging process. For the better, I guess, as we know they're poor losers.

I am a Dutch author living in Sweden. The main red thread through my books is that I like to weave real societal issues into fictional adventures.
Populism plays a big role in my debut OH MY GODS (Urban Fantasy). NATURAL SELECTION (horror), my second novel, evolves around the theme of sustainability, while TIME FOR SALE (sci-fi) includes an interesting take on conspiracy theories. For the fourth book, DATING TRAPP (mystery), the protagonist finds herself in the epicenter of a 'wokeness' scandal.
